We accomplish this through the expertise of our multiple psychologists and drug addiction therapists, who utilize proven treatment modalities including proven behavior therapies, family therapy, individual and support group therapy, as well as other therapeutic and counseling services. Additionally, our clients participate in other activities designed to strengthen the mind, body and spirit.
INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT TEAM
Following your initial assessment, you will be assigned to a psychologist, lead therapist and recovery mentor, who constitute your core treatment team, which we match to your specific needs. All of our treatment providers are staff members or well-qualified, licensed independent affiliates.
ONE-ON-ONE THERAPY
We offer individual therapy sessions by full-time accredited, licensed and
Ph.D. level therapists. As mentioned, they ensure that each client's unique issues are uncovered and addressed through comprehensive one-on-one sessions, thereby enabling our clients to deal with the 'triggers' that often underlie addiction.
FAMILY THERAPY
Addiction Intervention Treatment Group can help you, and your family and/or loved ones find a lasting solution to end the suffering and pain caused by addiction.
Alcoholism and drug addiction are commonly referred to as "family diseases" because of their profoundly negative effect on the entire family and others concerned about the addict. Family members and loved ones struggle to help, while witnessing their loved one continue the cycle of self-destruction - a devastating process.
Feelings of helplessness, despair, anxiety, and even anger about the damage the addiction has caused are common. We provide a safe and compassionate environment, wherein clients and loved ones can get the help and treatment they need.
Our Family Program is designed to help family members gain awareness and understanding, so that they can learn how to best support their loved one - and and manage their own lives, as well. Rebuilding and strengthening family relationships is a critical component of recovery. Every client and his/her loved ones are encouraged to participate in our family program, which is comprised of education, therapy and counseling.
We have preferential relationships with local hotels to assist in accommodations for the loved ones of our clients, in order to facilitate attendance at our family program..
OFF-CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
Addiction Intervention Treatment Group does not isolate our clients from the outside world during their treatment period with us. Clients are transported to community-based 12-Step meetings daily, as well as to local gyms, the beach, restaurants and other appropriate places, during each week. In doing so, our clients can experience normal activities, while under the safe care of our staff members. Clients are able to enjoy clean and sober experiences and associations in the world outside of treatment, making the transition from treatment to home much more seemless and successful.
PRIVATE TIME
Amidst the highly structured and intensive treatment we provide, we do understand that our clients need some time each day to relax and recharge. Reading, watching TV, emailing or texting, and speaking with loved ones on the phone, are encouraged, within appropriate boundaries.
DAY-TO-DAY LIVING
We provide most of the acceptable food and drink items that our clients are accustomed to enjoying, so that they can feel comfortable, while in our care. We see treatment as a time for clients to modify and change their lives for the better, not leave their lives, entirely.
Beach / Gym / Hiking / Yoga / Massage / Acupuncture / And More...
At Addcition Intervention Treatment Group of So. California, if medically appropriate, we encourage our clients to participate in healthy and safe, physical activities. Our masseuse provides healing message to each of our clients every week.
Our certified acupuncturist is also able to provide tremendous relief for pain, cravings, and numerous other issues.
As our residences are located just a few blocks from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, we utilize the beach for multiple activities, including just relaxing in the warm, sea-scrubbed air, on a regular basis.
Our Activities Director facilitates several 'outings' each week, wherein our clients can enjoy all that our local environment offers, from art galleries and museums, to beach crusers and roller blades to creative art activities and projects. We find that these supplemental therapies are a critical aid in helping our clients not only enjoy their time in treatment, but also re-connect with their bodies, minds, and spirits.

CONTINUING CARE
At Addiction Intervention Treatment Group of So. California, our treatment team provides a comprehensive, effective, individualized discharge plan. Experience has taught us just how critical a 'continuing care' plan is to assure lasting recovery.
Depending on the unique requirements of each client's discharge plan, we engage extended care programs, outpatient programs, therapists, counselors, mentors, and 12-Step recovery meeting coordinators, in the client's home area, previous to his/her discharge from our program. We do everything possible to insure that our clients have a scheduled appointment with a continuing care treatment professional in their home area, with whom we've spoken and made arrangements.
Additionally, we highly encourage our clients to matriculate in a 'monitoring program,' provided by independent monitoring groups. Outcome studies indicate that post-treatment monitoring is hugely influential in lasting recovery.
Finally, at Addiction Intervention Treatment Group of So. California, we have alumni all over the country and world, who comprise a wonderfully supportive group, who share a common bond - treatment and recovery through our programs. Friendships develop almost automatically in this always growing group, who interact through email, phone and other methods.
We do offer weekly 'alumni groups' at our facilities, as well, as an additional way for our clients to encourage and support each other in their recovery.
COST
Treatment costs at Addiction Intervention Treatment Group are ALL-INCLUSIVE. We do not subject our clients to an 'a-la-carte' pricing structure, as we feel that is misleading and confusing. Clients who attend our treatment programs receive all the treatment and services, both primary and supplemental, for the cost of the program. We do not publish our program costs, due to the highly individualized nature of the programs that we provide, as a function of the requirements of each client. These considerations include duration of treatment, detoxification, and level of care from primary to extended to transitional. Through a brief, initial phone conversation, we will be able to quote an accurate cost of treatment.
